Nan McCulloh Cochran, 93 of Valley passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020, at East Alabama Medical Center- Lanier Nursing Home in Valley.

The celebration of life service will be Saturday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m. EST at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Highway 87, Beulah (Valley) with the Rev. James S. Hill, Senior Pastor. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. A visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 31 from noon to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Cochran was born April 23, 1926, to the late John and Minnie Pearl McCulloh of Lee County. She was preceded in death by her husband George Cochran; parents, John and Minnie Pearl McCulloh; and three sisters, Mattie Stephens, Hattie Murphy and Rhoda McCulloh.

To cherish precious memories shared with her are two daughters, Emma (Richard) Gibson, Valley and Myrtis Cochran, Richmond, California; three grandchildren, Asha Gibson, Makis Gibson, and Mia Gibson, Valley; two great-grandchildren, Savion Salter, Valley and IaZariah Gilbert, Lanett; three sisters, Elease Carter, Louis Walker, and Estella Davis, Valley; one adopted daughter Susie Davis, Smiths Station; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
