Mrs. Thelma Rodgers 102, of LaFayette, Alabama died Tuesday Jan. 28, 2020, at the LaFayette Nursing Home.

Mrs. Rodgers was born in Chambers County April 14, 1917, to the late Herbert Houston Adams and the late Parrie Lee Standfield Adams, she was a homemaker, and an active member of the First Baptist Church in LaFayette.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 1, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Hand and the Rev. Bennie Yates officiating a private burial will follow the service.

Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service.

She is survived by her Son Darryl (Barbara) Rodgers of LaFayette, two grandchildren, Jason Collins and his wife Tonya Aumack of Atlanta and Amanda (Rev. Stephen) Grubbs of Lanett., three Great Grandchildren Nathan, Natalie and Noah Grubbs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jimmy Rodgers, daughter Edwina Collins and son in law Dr. Travis Collins, sister Edna Jackson and brother Joe Floyd Adams.
