Celebration of life for Ms. Mildred Moore,105, of Valley, will be Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, at Rehoboth Baptist Church of Valley, 2 p.m. EST, interment will follow in church cemetery.

The Rev. Karanja Story, pastor, officiating.

Public viewing will be Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, from 1 p.m. to 4p.m. EST at Foreman Funeral Home.

Ms. Moore will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Ms. Moore’s abundant life and her passionate spirit impacted those around her. Ms. Mildred Moore made her heavenly transition on Dec. 31, 2019. She passed away peacefully under the care of EAMC-Lanier Nursing Home in Valley.

She is preceded in death by her husband, N. Lee Moore, and two sons, Claude Moore and Lee Marshall Moore, both from Brooklyn, New York.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters and four sons: Johnnie P. Walker (Valley, AL), Mattie Ruth Tigner, Cecil Moore, Willie James Moore, Howard Moore, and Larry Moore all from Chicago, IL.

She also leaves behind twenty grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Foreman Funeral Home in Valley.
