Biden, Trump win Chambers Co., Alabama

Chambers County helped propel Joe Biden toward a large win in Alabama, as he collected a large number of Southern states on Super Tuesday.

In Chambers County specifically, Biden received 1,835 total votes, which was more than triple second place Michael Bloomberg.

Bernie Sanders finished third in Chambers County.

In the statewide race, Biden was projected to win the state of Alabama by numerous outlets, including the Associated Press. Biden had a commanding lead as of press time with 22 of 67 counties reporting.

Sanders was in second place and Bloomberg was in third. President Donald Trump was projected to win the Alabama Republican primary, with 96 percent of the vote statewide at press time. Bill Weld had collected 2 percent of the vote.

Trump won Chambers County with 4,077 votes. Weld received 38.
