Wille Floyd Philpot was born March 29, 1947 in Chambers County to the late Ms. Catherine Philpot. Willie gained his wings on Friday, February, 28, 2020.

Willie was a faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of West Point, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his favorite aunts, Sarah Philpot and Mary Jim Howell, and  sisters, Jennifer McCullough and Tammy Summers.

Floyd was well loved by his family and friends. He was an extremely kind soul and took care of all the kids in his family. He was very gentle and would help anyone in need. He will truly be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a son, Adrian (Shakell) McFarlin, of West Point, Georgia; special nephew, William Michael Labrone Howell, West Point, Georgia;  a special niece, Portia Sade Howell Summers, LaGrange, Georgia; sisters, Sandra Heard and Angela McCray, Lanett and Aretha Howell, Atlanta, Georgia; a brother, Danny (Rachel) Howell, West Point, Georgia; nieces, Stacey (Paul) McCullough and Latoyal McCullough, West Point, Georgia,Tracy Brooks and DeShannon Walton, Lanett; nephews, Michael (Kimberly) Howell and  Randy Howell, Atlanta, Georgia, Jefferson (LaShonda) Howell, Atlanta, Georgia, Earl (Tiffany) McCullough, Marrio McCullough, Corey McCullough, and Kenny Philpot, Lanett and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Philpot will be held on Saturday, March  7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, West Point, Georgia with the Dr. W. T. Edmondson, Pastor, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Marseilles Cemetery.

The remains will lie in state at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at M. W. Lee Mortuary.

The family is receiving friends at the residence of Ms. Stacey McCullough, 212 Hamilton Drive, West Point, Georgia.
