Mr. Desmond D. Brooks, Jr., 17 of LaFayette, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020, 2  p.m. CST at New Mt. Sellers Baptist Church Cemetery in LaFayette. Pastor Terry L. Magby, Sr. officiating.

Mr. Brooks is survived by his parents, Desmond Brooks, Sr. and Shaneka Thomas of LaFayette; his sisters, Aaliyah Brooks, Alicia Brooks and Alivia Brooks, all of LaFayette; his grandparents, Sanders (Barbara Jean) Brooks of LaFayette, Mary Lee Thomas (Tommie Milton) of LaFayette and Ashley Todd (Wendy) of LaFayette; his aunts, Beverly and Shalonda Thomas and Rebecca Lockhart, of LaFayette; his uncles, Kevin Brooks, Tracy Brooks, Sanders Lewis, Chris Thomas and Derrick Thomas, all of LaFayette; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
