Ms. Lorine Murphy Jennings transitioned on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at EMAC, Opelika.  Ms. Jennings, the daughter of the late Willie Henry and Mary Ella Dowell Murphy, was born December 22, 1956, in Chambers County.

She confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Love Union Baptist Church, West Point, Georgia.

Lorine was affectionately known as “ Lo,” “Lora,” “Flora Bell.”   She was formerly employed by West Point Pepperell and Lectia Corporation.

Ms. Jennings leaves to cherish her precious memories five sisters, Norma (Vinton) Lovelace, Sarah Murphy(Edward Bailey), Barbara Cullwell all of Lanett, Mary Ann Murphy and Angelia Dowell both of West Point, Georgia; five nephews; seven nieces; and a host of great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and a host of special relatives, friends that she loved dearly.

A memorial celebration of life service for  Ms. Jennings will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 1 p.m. EST in the Pinehill Cemetery with Bishop Billy Avery, Eulogist, the Rev. Rodell Poole and the Rev. Tony Avery, assisting.
