Troup County to take COVID-19 measures again

Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, the Troup County Government Center will limit the number of people inside for the time being effective June 17.

Along with allowing only 15 people inside the building at a time, he Troup County Tax Commissioner’s Office, the Troup County Elections and Registration Office, the Troup County Community Development Office, the Troup County Clerk of Superior and State Courts Office and the Troup County Probate Court Office and Troup County Solicitor’s Office will all be closed to walk-in traffic. All will be available over the phone.

The State, Superior, Magistrate, and Juvenile Court will continue to hold essential court proceedings but will require health checks and facial coverings.

All visitors, who made an appointment to any of these offices will be screened. They will have their temperatures taken and be asked health questions before allowed entry.
