The Lanett City School System released its schedule for the 2020-21 school year on Tuesday. 

Teachers will report on Aug. 12 for teacher workdays, which will continue until Aug. 21. The first day of school will be Aug. 24, whether it is in person or online.

Students will still get off for Labor Day, which is Sept. 7, and will have a fall break, which runs from Oct. 19 to Oct. 21. Students will also get Veteran’s Day (Nov. 11) off and a Thanksgiving break (Nov. 25 to Nov. 27).

Dec. 18 is the final day before Christmas break. Teachers return on Jan. 4 and students return Jan. 5. 

The first semester ends on Jan 20. The first quarter runs from Aug. 24 until Oct. 28. 

Students will get President’s Day off on Feb. 15. Spring break is scheduled for March 29 and will end on April 2. 

The final day of school for students is June 3, while teachers finish on June 4. The third quarter runs from Jan. 21 until March 24.
