Mr. Eugene Sanders, Jr., 78, of Five Points, died Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, Georgia.

Mr. Sanders was born in Harris County, Georgia to the late Eugene Sanders and the late Cordie Lee Davis Sanders, he served in the US Army and retired from General Motors in Hamilton, Ohio after 35 years of service.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020, at 4 p.m. EST,  3 p.m. CT at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Lanett with the Rev. Roger Florence officiating.

He is survived by his son, Edward Allen Sanders of Hamilton, Ohio; grandson, Edward Andrew Sanders of Hamilton, Ohio; sister, Leola (Jimmy) Hester of LaGrange, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Billie Lee Johnson, Betty Sanders, and Frances Toole.
