Ms. Brenda A. Bolt, 76, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the EAMC Lanier Nursing Home.

Private graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett with Fr. Gali Balaswamy officiating.

Brenda was born on July 6, 1944, in West Point, to Wallace Berry Bolt and Burnie Mitchell Bolt. She graduated from St. Margaret’s School of Nursing in Montgomery in 1965.

She served in the U.S. Army Nursing Corp. for 15 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. She also worked at George H. Lanier Hospital as well other hospitals.

Survivors include her sister, Linda (Gene) Lester of West Memphis, Arkansas; brother, Richard (Erlinda) Bolt of Lanett; niece, Denise (Chris) Clark of Lanett; Donna (Bill) Barnes of Kentucky; Janice (Matt) Sullivan of Florida; nephews, Patrick (Samantha) Bolt of Lanett and Steve (Michelle) Lester of Japan; five great- nieces and five great- nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity in her memory.
