A Valley man has been arrested for willful abuse of a child, a class C felony.

According to the Valley Police Department, James Andrew Roberson, 48, was arrested and is currently at the Chambers County Detention Facility awaiting bond. The case was reported to the VPD on July 15.

Limited information is being released due to the relationship to the victim and age of the victim.
