“I’m proud of our staff for receiving these awards from the Alabama Press Association, which shows the caliber of work we’re capable of a daily basis. A lot of people work hard every day to produce this newspaper, and it’s nice to see that work judged as some of the best in our state,” said Publisher Daniel Evans. “At the same time, while awards are nice, our main focus remains on contributing top-notch news coverage to the Valley community.”
