Overview: Cold weather will be in place for much of this week. A low pressure system will move along the Gulf Coast Thursday night through Friday leading to the potential for rain and a winter mix across most of Central Alabama.
Specific accumulations and areas impacted remain uncertain at this time as a 2 – 3 degree temperature difference in this situation will lead to significant changes in the forecast.

- Light ice accumulations possible
Where:
- Northern half of Central Alabama with the greater potential for accumulation across the far northern tier of counties.

- Early Friday morning through the evening
