West Point entrepreneurs Kesha and Michael Coniglio are filling the needs of the community all along Third Avenue, most recently by opening their new business, Pack N’ Ship.
The packing, shipping and printing shop first opened in October but became fully operational recently. To celebrate, the owners held a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday.
Kesha said the idea for the shop came about after noticing that there was a niche in the community not being filled. The shop provides extensive printing, shipping, gift wrapping and balloon services.
In addition to the new shop, the couple also owns and operates Burrow Warehouse and Brix, event centers in West Point. Kesha said the growth doesn’t stop here. Looking to the future, she hopes to continue growing.
“I love being centrally located in our downtown,” Kesha said. “However, it would be really awesome if they could grow. And it actually needed a bigger space that we could even offer more products or services in-house to provide for all the businesses, the students and residents in the community.”
GVACC Director Carrie Wood thanked the Chamber Ambassadors for their volunteerism during the ceremony.
“They are our backbone,” she said. “Thank you all for being here.”
Wood introduced Kesha and her passion for community engagement. Of Kesha, she said, “She has the heart that we all wish we could have. She does so much for her town here and in her community.”
The shop can ship for UPS, FedEx and USPS. Though they can return Amazon packages, Kesha said, if you use the QR code option, it has to be taken exclusively by UPS. Instead, she said to print out the label or bring it to the shop to be printed out.
“We offer shredding by the pound. We offer gifts. We offer mailboxes, and we offer all different kinds of printed needs,” Kesha said. “So if you need banners, business cards, posters, yard signs, we can do it all.”
Shipping for print orders is fast too. Kesha said they get next-day shipping. They offer design services in-store as well.
“If you have a business, or somebody else has a business in a different state or city and they need an LLC in our area, then we can provide them a mailbox,” Kesha added.
From latex and foil balloons to greeting cards and stationery, Pack N’ Ship is a one-stop shop for nearly all business and office service needs. During the event, Wood joked, “Is that all you do?”
But wait — there’s more. They also offer federal and state fingerprinting and notary services.
“I can’t tell you for how many years I’ve heard people say this is exactly what they want to see in our city, a place where they can do these services…,” said Steve Tramell, mayor of West Point, during the ceremony. “So a much, much needed business for our community. We thank you for having the foresight to do this.”
“We need more people like that around here,” said Kevin Patrick, West Point council member.
