The East Alabama Fire District received the report of structure fire at a residence in the 1000 block of County Road 388 in Valley around 11:00 pm Tuesday night 2/18/2025. EAFD units arrived on scene within minutes, to find heavy smoke coming from the structure. An offensive fire attack was initiated, and the fire was extinguished. The structure received heat and smoke damage throughout. The residence was not at home at the time of the fire. There were no injuries reported.
