On Thursday, February 06, 2025, at approximately 2:20 PM, Lanett Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of an unresponsive person in the 800 block of 13th Street South Lanett, Alabama. Upon arrival, medical services and officers found a male subject who had succumbed to his injuries. During the investigation, a suspect was identified as 23-year-old Demetrius Dion Trammell. Trammell was located and placed under arrest for the alleged murder of the victim. This case is still under investigation.
