Overview: Three rounds of severe thunderstorms will affect the area from Thursday through early Sunday morning, with the risk level increasing with each round.  First, a Level 1 out of 5 risk is in effect for a threat of large hail and damaging winds during the day on Thursday.  Second, a Level 1 to 3 out of 5 risk is in effect overnight Friday night into Saturday morning. This threat is conditional as storms may struggle to form, but those that do form will be in a favorable environment for tornadoes, large hail, and damaging winds.  Finally, confidence continues to increase in a significant threat of severe storms Saturday afternoon through early Sunday morning. Risks include strong tornadoes, large hail, and damaging winds.
