WADLEY, AL – Southern Union State Community College announced the expansion of its Cosmetology program to the Wadley Campus beginning Fall 2025. As one of the College’s longest-standing and most successful career programs, this expansion reflects Southern Union’s continued commitment to providing accessible, high-quality career training across all campuses.

“The Cosmetology program has long been a cornerstone of our technical offerings,” said Todd Shackett, President of Southern Union. “We’re proud to now offer this opportunity to our students in Wadley and the surrounding communities.”

With state-of-the-art equipment, experienced instructors, and a curriculum focused on both foundational and advanced techniques, the program prepares students for licensure and a successful career in the beauty industry. Students in Wadley will now be able to gain hands-on experience and personalized training without leaving their community.
