Food, fun and fellowship are returning to the LaFayette square on May 9 for the summer Food Truck Festival hosted by LaFayette Main Street. Starting at 5 p.m. CT, the downtown area will be lined with food trucks for residents and visitors alike to enjoy.
The event is already full for food trucks and other vendors. Folks will also be able to enjoy musical entertainment throughout the evening.
The Food Truck Festival was introduced in 2023 as a way of bringing in businesses and bringing residents out to the square to enjoy local storefronts. The event, organized by the LaFayette Main Street organization, is just one of the ways that LaFayette is growing into an event hub.
The town’s square became a Main Street designated downtown in 2022 and since then, the LMS committees have worked to encourage beautification projects, local economic stimulation and attracting tourists and locals alike.
After several successful Food Truck Fridays, the LMS organization realized that the event was here to stay. Some of the vendors at the event will be Zo’s Food Shack, Bel-Air Potato Bar N More, Las Latinas, The Feed Wagon, Grab N Go Hot Dogs, Mr. Mori Hibachi Express, Grandma Val’s Lemonade, Bridges BBQ and more.
