US-29 @ 10th street signal removal, in Lanett
CHAMBERS COUNTY– The Alabama Department of Transportation will be removing the traffic signal equipment at the intersection of US-29 and 10th Street in the City of Lanett on Tuesday, June 3, if weather permitting. Workers will be on site from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Beginning Tuesday, June 3, there will be no traffic signal at the intersection of US-29 and 10th Street. Traffic at this intersection will operate under the following conditions going forward:
- Traffic on US-29 will not be required to stop at 10th Street.
- Traffic on 10th Street will be controlled by stop signs at US-29.
Motorists are advised to use extreme caution and pay attention to all signs and warning devices while this work is being performed.
