Miss LaFayette Main Street pageant celebrates community youth

LaFayette- On Saturday, June 14, the Miss LaFayette Main Street pageant was held in the LaFayette High School auditorium. The second annual contest featured 55 girls with age ranges from three to 18 competing for the top spot in their division.
The goal of the pageant is to increase the confidence of young women while providing them with an opportunity to volunteer and be seen in their community. The secondary goal being to draw positive attention to the LaFayette area in hopes of drawing more economic opportunities to the community.
The pageant consisted of five divisions: Tiny Miss (ages 3 to 5), Little Miss (ages 6 to 9), Young Miss (ages 10 to 12), Junior Miss (ages 12 to 15, and Miss LaFayette Mainstreet ( ages 16 to 18).
The audience voted on awards for most photogenic and people’s choice.
The winners of the 2025 Miss LaFayette Main Street pageant are as follows:

- People’s Choice: Avery Gates

Local businesses volunteered their time and resources to ensure the pageant ran smoothly. LaFayette Mainstreet also extended its gratitude to all participants and those who volunteered to help make the event a positive experience for everyone.
