LaFAYETTE — Mr. John Henry Daniel, 87, of LaFayette died Friday, December 22, 2017 at the LaFayette Nursing Home. A native of Chambers County, he was born on October 10, 1930.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. CST on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Rehope Baptist Church, LaFayette, with Pastor H.L. Jones officiating.

Mr. Daniel is survived by his children: John  Daniel Jr. (Diane),  Jack Daniel (Zola), Jesse Lyons Daniel (Karen), Annie Lou Kyles, Barbara Carr, Margaret R. Daniel, Juliette Pulliam (Charlie), Mattie Huguley (Willie James), Hilda Blunt (Gary), Mary Zachery (Walter), and Stephanie McCoy (David); two brothers, Marvin Daniel and Jesse Daniel; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
