Lanett reports

LANETT — Two people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Angela Slaughter, 412, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping;

Demaurius Patrick, 37, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court (FTA) to answer traffic-related charges.

In incidents reported on Tuesday, Lanett police are investigating an incident of domestic violence that was reported on the 600 block of South 5th Avenue and an incident of theft of property, fourth degree, on the 100 block of North 14th Avenue.

Valley reports

VALLEY — A gas drive off was reported yesterday in Valley. According to a Valley Police Department report, someone drove off without paying for a gas purchase on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.

LaFAYETTE — This morning there were 139 inmates in the Chambers County Jail.
