LANETT — Two people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Benedetto Digirolamo, 69, of Lanett has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI) – alcohol

Justin McKeehan, 27, of Valley has been charged with attempting to elude a police officer.

In incidents reported on Wednesday, Lanett police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that was reported on the 100 block of South Gilmer Avenue and an incident of harassment on the 800 block of South 15th Street,

Valley reports

VALLEY — One arrest was reported in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports, Brian Daniel Lucas, 42, of Gulf Shores, Ala. has been charged with seven counts of failure to appear in court (FTA) to answer traffic-related charges.

An incident of theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 2900 block of 20th Avenue.

Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — Angela Slaughter, 41, of Lanett was arrested by the Chambers County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday ona charge of failure to pay (FTP) on a charge of negotiating with a worthless negotiable instrument (bad checks).

This morning there were 134 inmates in the Chambers County Jail.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — An incident of fraud was reported on Stocks Circle in West Point on Wednesday.
