Sheriff reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested Thursday by the Chambers  County Sheriff’s Department. According to reports, they include:

Tymichael Antonio Marshall, 27, of Valley charged with failure to pay (FTP) a speeding fine.

Edith Carlett Bowman, 43, of Bremen, Ga., arrested on a grand jury indictments for theft of property, first degree.

Kenneth Ricardo Buchanan, 46, of Valley, charged with three counts of the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

There are 146 inmates in the Chambers County jail today.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Two people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday.

Wayne Anton Cofield, 33, has been charged with FTA – traffic.

William Tell Young, 56, of Valley has been charged with public intoxication.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal trespass, first, and criminal mischief, third, has been reported on the 2500 block of 28th Avenue SW.

Criminal mischief, second, has been reported on the 600 block of South 3rd Avenue.

Domestic violence, third, has been reported on the 1200 block of 20th Street SW.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Wayne Cofield, 33, of Valley was arrested Thursday on a charge of bail jumping, second degree.

According to reports, Valley officers are investigating incidents involving theft of property, second degree, on the 200 block of Fob James Drive; theft of property, third degree, on the 600 block of Fob James Drive, and burglary, third, and theft of property, fourth on the 200 block of Huguley Road.
