Sheriff reports

LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested Wednesday by deputies from the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office. According to Sheriff’s Office reports:

Marecia Woodgett, 30, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court (FTA) to answer charges of speeding.

Keitavious Heard, 28, of Lanett has been charged with promoting prison contraband.

Kristina Griffin, 31, of Valley has been charged with possession/receiving a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, second degree.

Jeremy Cofield, 36, of LaFayette has been charged with receiving stolen property, fourth degree.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports:

Jihad Yusef Abdullah, 46, of Lanett has been charged with theft of property, second degree.

Darrell Eugene Crawford, 45, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

Antavious Renard Boyd, 24, of West Point has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.

In incidents or offenses reported in Lanett on Wednesday, harassment and theft of property, fourth, was reported on the 1400 block of North Gilmer Avenue.

Theft by deception, fourth, was reported on the 2100 block of South Broad Avenue.

Theft of property, fourth, and criminal mischief was reported at the Cherry Valley Shopping Center.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Thursday.

Lisa Barnes, 36, of Valley has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Kimberly Estes has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating two incidents that were reported on Wednesday.
