From Staff Reports
Delivery of the Wednesday edition of the Valley Times-News to home subscribers will be delayed due to poor Tuesday night and Wednesday morning weather conditions. The newspaper’s printing facility in Opelika has cancelled all outgoing deliveries for the day, making carrier delivery to home subscribers an impossibility. The Wednesday edition will still be available online to all home subscribers Wednesday morning after 10:30 a.m. ET.
Chambers County bridges and county roads were declared impassible at approximately 12:45 a.m. ET Wednesday morning by Josh Harvill, Chambers County highway engineer. As of 9 a.m. ET, this declaration was still in effect.
Wednesday edition newspapers will be delivered along with Thursday edition newspapers on Thursday, Jan. 18.
