VALLEY — Bradshaw-Chambers County Library on Friday played host to a job fair. It took place in the Lanier Room, starting at 11 a.m. Representatives of Staffing Connections were on hand to accept resumes and offer assistance for those who are seeking work or better-paying employment.
Staff Recruiter Breque Ward told The Valley Times-News that Staffing Connections works with more than 120 different agencies to help people get jobs. “We are trying to get more people from this area,” she said. “We want to help people in the Valley.”
Staffing Connections is a member of the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce. Their office is located on Pepperell Parkway in Opelika.
There’s a need right now for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Rehab Unit Registered Nurses (RNs), cooks, cashiers, small deli area servers, janitors, and general assembly. People with experience in quality control, melting and refractory capabilities are needed in the Hogansville area.
