ANDREW AND LESLIE LEAK hosted family members to a Christmas dinner at their home on December 23rd.

The menu consisted of barbecue and chicken nuggets with iced drinks. Andrew prayed for blessings on the food.

Enjoying the time together were Ellen McClure of Opelika, her children and grandchildren, Brad, Abigail, Lauren and Rob Wideman of Trussville, Ala., Addison McClure of Atlanta, Tony Gibson, Rhonda Gibson, Betty Jo Hamil, Randy, Stacey and Jacob McClure and Andrew, Leslie, Ansley and Drew Leak all of Valley.

CAROLYN AND JO LYN SANDS hosted a luncheon at their home on Christmas Eve.

Delicious finger foods were provided by each family to share with the others. Jake Wooley gave thanks for the food after which Betty Jo led them in singing the Doxology.

A lively game of Dirty Santa was enjoyed following the lunch. Each child told what Christmas means to them and a beautiful Christmas tree was given to each person in attendance.

Joining in this fun time were Jennifer, Jeff, Luke and Jake Wooley, Susie Gibson, Ethan Windsor, Mia Breman, Betty Jo Hamil, Donnie Smith, Rhonda Gibson, Judson and Jackie Sands, Syden Sands and the hosts Carolyn and JoLyn Sands.
