LANETT — Mrs. Becky Arrington, 77, of Lanett, Ala. passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on April 9, 1940 in Fredonia, Ala. to the late Gus Givorns and Gertrude Givorns.

Mrs. Arrington is survived by her three children, Phillip (Peggy) Arrington, Greg Arrington and Angie A. Landreth; her five grandchildren, Stevie Rae Arrington, Jake Landreth, Danielle Arrington, Briana Arrington, and Alaina Landreth; her five great grandchildren; her special niece, Stacey Givorns, and her special friend, John Will Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Arrington, and her brothers, Michael Givorns and Roger Givorns.

Mrs. Arrington enjoyed cooking for her family.  She loved taking care of others and was always the first to volunteer to help. She loved her children with all her heart.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13th, at 4 p.m. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Lanett, Ala. with the Rev. Dennis Harmon officiating.  Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Lanett.
