VALLEY — Lana Grace Wiggins, 63, a resident of the Riverview community, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 2 p.m. EST from the First Christian Church of Riverview with Rev. Frank Rittenberry officiating.  Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. EST at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.

Lana was born in Langdale on February 2, 1954.  She was a registered nurse for over 40 years.  In recent years she had served the on the Valley City Council representing District 5. She was an avid Alabama fan and loved to paint.

Survivors include her son, Jamie Wiggins (Michelle); daughter, Alicia Wiggins; sister, Donna Clark (Kevin), and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Patsy Wiggins and her brothers, Robbie, Danny, Joe and Donald Wiggins.
