Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — Five people were arrested by the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office on Monday. According to Sheriff’s Office reports:

Nathan Brett Foster, 39, of Valley has been charged with a probation violation.

Jason R. Spears, 39, of Lanett has been charged wiht failure to appear in court (FTA) on child support charges.

Matthew V. Shields, 40, of Wadley, Ala. has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.

Cody McManus, 30, of Wedowee, Ala. has been charged with burglary, thrid degree, and theft of property, third degree.

Michael Hudson, 46, of Valley has been charged with FTA – child support.

There are 141 inmates in the Chambers County jail.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Two incidents were reported to the Lanett Police Department on Monday.

According to LPD reports, an assault, third degree, was reported on the 600 block of North 14th Court, and an incident of criminal mischief, third degree, reported on the 1900 block of 53rd Avenue SW.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Valley Police Department officers are investigating two incidents that were reported on Monday. According to police department reports, harassment and criminal mischief, second degree, was reported on Boyd’s Circle and an assault, second degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 2300 block of 38th Boulevard.
