Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — Six people were arrested by the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office over the weekend. They include:

Limmie Harris, 34, of Lanett, charged with possession of a controlled substance; Justin Brown, 29, of Roanoke, charged with domestic violence, third degree; Willie Vines, 66, of LaFayette, charged with the unlicensed sale of alcoholic beverages; Corderro Williams, 30, of LaFayette, charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of theft of property, first degree; Gabriel Lockhart, 39, of LaFayette, charged with FTA – child support, and Richard Smith of Lanett, charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, obstructing justice, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation (manslaughter).

West Point reports

WEST POINT —Three people were arrested in West Point over the weekend. According to police reports,

Tranorris Montress Carter of West Point has been charged with battery;

Calvin Lee Finley of Lanett was arrested on a warrant from the Newnan Police Department (probation violation);

Quoneisha Nicole Murphy of West Point, arrested on a warrant from the Troup County Sheriff’s Office (probation violation).

Valley reports

VALLEY — The Valley Police Department reported one weekend arrest. Susan Jane Mason, 56, of Valley has been charged with criminal trespass, third degree.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Jasper Lashaye Brown, 39, of Lanett was arrested by the Lanett Police Department over the weekend on a charge of the illegal possession of drug paraphernalia.
