Lanett reports
LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Scotty Reed, 42, of Lanett has been charged with criminal trespass, third degree;
Jessica Lynn Martin, 29, of Opelika, Ala., has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of receiving stolen property, first degree; FTA – theft of property, first degree, and FTA – fraudulent use of a credit/debit card;
Reginald Tremayne Cleveland, 43, of Lanett has been charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest, and
Jalexa Ramir Goggans, 23, of Lanett has been charged with giving a false name to law enforcement.
In incidents that were reported on Tuesday, Lanett officers are investigating the breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on the 1200 block of Cherry Drive; domestic violence, third degree, on the 2500 block of 28th Street SW; domestic violence, third, on the 4400 block of County Road 289, and criminal trespass, third, on the 1600 block of 18th Street SW.
Sheriff’s Office reports
LaFAYETTE — Five people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Debbie Moss, 51, of LaFayette has been charged with receiving stolen property, first degree;
David Johnson, 29, of Valley has been charged with the possession of a controlled substance;
Luther Briskey, 31, of LaFayette has been charged with violating the Sex Offender Notification Act;
Mark Allen, 40, of Arley, Ala. has been charged with two counts FTA – domestic violence, and
Roy James, 58, of LaFayette has been charged with a probation violation.
Valley reports
VALLEY — Valley Police officers are investigating two incidents that were reported on Tuesday. They include burglary, third degree, on the 1400 block of Lantuck Road, and theft of property, fourth, on the 4500 block of Fairfax Bypass.
West Point reports
WEST POINT — Officers from the West Point Police Department are investigating an incident of shoplifting that was reported Tuesday on East 10th Street.
