Change is not always good when it begins

Hello Huguley, I hope you are doing well today. I really want to include this here, so I am going ahead and stick it in here. Change is not always good when it begins.
I know I always have to get used to a new purse or pair of shoes before I fall in love with them. The same goes with anything. As things change here at the Valley Times News I know some of the changes might feel uncomfortable until we get used to them. Please be patient with these changes.
Many of you have contacted me about the changes like I can have an impact there. Believe me I cannot. The changes are going to impact me as well. As it will all of the dedicated VTN readers. We have already experienced a change in formats and delivery dates. I am still getting used to the idea that we will no longer have a Monday paper yet we will be getting one on Saturdays. I hope the other changes will not be any more life changing than these have been.
As far as I know the community columns will still be included in the paper. Albeit perhaps a new day of the week. I am still trying to send one in every week, from all the columns I can get. I rely on all of you to help me with that. So as long as we have the space for them, please continue to send me your news. We can ride these changes out!
Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church for the Deaf and Hearing, located at 2821 Cusseta Road, Lanett, will be having revival on Feb 16-17 at 6pm ET and Feb 18 at 11am ET. Evangelist Bobby Barnes will be the guest preacher and The Exhorters will provide special singing. Interpretation will be provided for the deaf for each service. For more information please call 706.773.5330.
I saw the sign out on the side of Highway 50 the other day promoting the Walk With Jesus event that is going to be presented at Happy Valley Baptist Church very soon.
Rehearsals and decorating is going on nearly daily and it promises to be a great event. I certainly hope you will try to attend. Bring your groups from your churches, your families, friends and neighbors. There will be ample parking and the church is wheelchair accessible so all can come through.
West End Baptist Church is helping in the drama too. This is the second year they have been a part of the cast and crew. We will be presenting the drama several times each night and will be doing it March 16th, 17th , 23rd , 24th , and 30th . Please call the 6.30 9.30 Please check out Jades Letson’s page on Facebook or check out Happy Valley Baptists church page there as well. You will need to make arrangements for a reservation timed slot.
I know I use a lot of stuff from our church. There is a main reason for that. That is where I go to church and those are the folks I spend time with. But, believe me; I am always open for your things to run in the columns.
I love it when I get s surprise text or an email from some of you. And I check them a lot. Even when I get messages from Facebook or instant messenger, I am pleased as punch. So please continue or reconsider sending me messages to use in the paper. I cannot tell you when it will run, because I don’t know when it will run. Just give me a call.
Well, I am closing out I sure wish I could hear how things are going in your neck of the woods. I miss hearing from you guys! Won’t you consider sending your news in to me so folks that do not have access to Facebook can read about your comings and goings?
Call me at 706-773-6550 or shoot me a text, Messenger me or shoot me an email to strictlynews@charter.net I would love to get something from YOU! Let me hear from you Take care and have a great week.
