LANETT, Ala. — Mrs. Kathy S. Clanton, 67, of Lanett, Ala. passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. EST Monday, February 12, 2018 at Victory Baptist Church in Lanett with Rev. Larry Vinson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 – 2 p.m. EST on Monday prior to the funeral. 

Mrs. Clanton is survived by her children, Samuel David Clanton and Jodi Ware (Ronnie); three grandchildren, Maegan Worley, Marcus and Roderick Ware; a special friend, Dinzel Cox; brothers-in-law Jerald Clanton (Nancy), and Larry Clanton (Patsy); a sister-in-law, Barbara Yarbrough (Wayne); and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mrs. Clanton was preceded in death by her husband, Gary L. Clanton.

She was born in Alexander City, Ala.on October 20, 1950 and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
