Lanett reports
LANETT — Seven people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Otis Roberts, 50, of Lanett has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI);
Marcus Jeffery Brooks, 51, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of not being in possession of a driver’s license;
Marcis Corderro Roberts, 52, of Lanett has been charged with two counts of FTA – driving with a suspended license and two counts FTA – speed less than 25 miles per hour;
Rodney Darryl Roberts, 52, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – driving while suspended;
Eddie Lee Webb, 45, of Auburn, Ala. has been charged with receiving stolen property, first degree; possession of a controlled substance, attempting to elude a police officer and disorderly conduct.
Codecko Cordeze Brooks, 26, of Pine Mountain, Ga. has been charged with assault, first degree; reckless endangerment; using a false name to obstruct justice; receiving stolen property, first degree; attempting to elude a police officer, disorderly conduct and fugitive from justice;
David Joshua Friedman, 42, of Valley has been charged with FTA – driving while suspended.
In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1200 block of South 10th Street, and violation of a domestic violence protection order, and domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 2500 block of 28th Avenue SW.
Valley reports
VALLEY — Four people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to VPD reports,
Ami Elizabeth Trammell, 37, of Valley has been charged with harassing communications;
Prentiss Williams, 19, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Antonio Latraye Murphy, 49, of West Point, Ga. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Daniel McLaughlin, 37, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.
In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 200 block of Cusseta Road; changing illegal paper money without authority has been reported on 2900 block of 20th Avenue, and domestic violence, third degree, and criminal mischief reported on the 100 block of GI Street.
West Point reports
WEST POINT — An incident of criminal trespass taking place on Highway 29 was reported to the West Point Police Department on Thursday.
