Lanett reports

LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to a Lanett Police Department report, Cornelius Myrone Potts, 40, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with theft or property, fourth degree, and public intoxication.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 1900 block of 23rd Avenue, and theft of property, fourth degree, reported on the 100 block of North Gilmer Avenue.

Valley reports

VALLEY — The Valley Police Department reported one arrest taking place on Wednesday. According to a VPD report, Ronald Turner Stiggers, 64, of Lanett has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree.

Valley officers are investigating a report of domestic violence, third degree, taking place on the 4300 block of County Road 388.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — According to the West Point Police Department, Lakesha Dontrel Smith of Opelika, Ala. was arrested Wednesday on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
