AFTER GOING THROUGH some changes throughout the complex at Sylvia Word Manor prior to the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018, with changes in management, redecorating with new furniture in the common areas, new carpet and painting in each building, not to mention the hustle and bustle of the Christmas and New Year holidays, maybe things have finally settled down and the meetings of The Savior’s Hand Gospel Hour continue to take place each Monday.

On February 5th, Susie Fincher welcomed the group and called on Brenda Payne to open the meeting in prayer. This was followed by the repeating of their Bible verse and the singing of the chorus “This is the Day” led by Leonard Thrower, W. L. Gillenwaters and Susie Fincher.

L. leading in prayer for those mentioned, including Richard Royster, Wanda and Teddy Byrd, Eddie Striblin, Edra Waller, Gladys Jones, Justin Graben, Matt Summers, Kyle Walker (Salvation), Faye Crowder, Cheyanne Van Houten, Betty Shaw and the lost people that they may find Jesus and allow him to come into their lives.
