ATLANTA, Ga. — Mrs. Hattie Pearson Gaston, 82 of Atlanta, Ga. and formerly of Chambers County, Ala. passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta.

 Funeral Services were scheduled for 11 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Hunter Hills First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Ga. with the Rev. Christopher A. Wimberly, Sr., pastor; officiating. Burial will follow in Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette, Ala.

 Mrs. Gaston is survived by her husband, Henry Gaston; a son, Calvin Hill; sisters Mary Todd, Bertha Pringle, Christine Brown, Shirley Winston (Darryl), Linda Floyd Hicks (Ernest), Barbara Jordan, Jennifer Jones (Joe) and Shirley Ruth Silmon, one brother, Carl Jeffrey Floyd, six grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
