SHERIFF’S OFFICE REPORTS
LaFAYETTE — Seven people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Jim Woodard, 48, of LaFayette has been charged with ten counts of the sexual abuse of a child that’s less than 12 years of age;
Laura Marchman, 25, of Valley has been charged with a probation violation;
Gregory Potts, 56, of Lanett has been charged with the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance;
Michael Marable, 27, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of driving with a suspended license;
Trenedy Turner, 44, of Lanett has been charged with a probation violation and failure to pay – negotiating with a worthless negotiable instrument;
Kevin Lashley, 18, has been charged with FTA – operating a vehicle without insurance, and
Key Pruitt, 30, of Lanett has been charged with three counts of failure to pay.
LANETT REPORTS
LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Galvin Heard, 31, of Valley has been charged with giving false information to a law enforcement officer and FTA – traffic;
Anthony Hines, 35, of Lanett has been charged with disorderly conduct;
Gary Hupp, 45, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.
In incidents that were reported to Lanett police on Thursday, officers are investigating reports of harassment on the 2000 block of 53rd Avenue SW; burglary, third degree, on the 1800 block of Morgan Cantey Road and domestic violence, third degree, on the 1400 block of South 14th Street.
VALLEY REPORTS
VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
Ambria Booker, 24, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic;
Jonah Cane Fetner, 46, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and
Michael Abrams, 27, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping.
In incidents being investigated by Valley police, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1300 block of Whitesmill Road; carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and minor in possession of tobacco was reported on the 500 block of Highway 29, and criminal mischief, second degree, reported on the 3600 block of 55th Street.
