LANETT reports

LANETT — Nine people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Charnesia Jacole Buckner, 28, of West Point, Ga. was arrested for failure to appear in court to answer charges of driving with an expired license and domestic violence;

John Lee McCray, 49, of LaFayette, Ala. has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia;

Travis Damon Billingsley, 29, of Valley  has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia;

Zanedra Shantaiya Edmonson, 44, of Lanett has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to pay on a charge of selling alcohol without a license;

Casey Lamar Roberts, 26, of Lanett has been charged with criminal trespassing, third degree;

Baraskious O’vuntae Jabbar Dowdell, 18, of Lanett has been charged with assault, third degree and disorderly conduct;

Emanuel Stephon Littles, 19, of Lanett has been charged with disorderly conduct;

Terrion Tyquavious Truitt, 19, of Lanett has been charged with disorderly conduct;

Jabaraskious O’texico Mantrez Boyd, 20, of Lanett has been charged with disorderly conduct.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 600 block of South 4th Avenue; attempted theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 800 block of South 6th Avenue; harassment and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 600 block of North 14th Court; theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 3700 block of 35th Street SW, and harassment, domestic violence, third degree, and theft
of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 700 block of North 14th Court.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE  reports

LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Jeffery Duncan, 29, of Brighton, Ala. has been charged with two counts of violating the Sex Offender Registry Notification Act and the sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years of age;

Marvin Walker, 26, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – violating the move over law,

VALLEY  reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Monday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Calvin Benjamin Nix, 32, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

Charnesia Buckner, 28, of West Point has been charged with failure to appear.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 1300 block of Columbus Road, and violation of a court order was reported on the 100 block of Jefferson Street.
