West Point reports

WEST POINT — Two people were arrested in West Point on Wednesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Rantavious Deon Tucker of Valley has been charged with a probation violation, and

Ronald James McClellan of West Point has been charged with family violence – simple battery.

Lanett reports

LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to a Lanett Police Department report,

Harris Trevor Wood, 25, of Wedowee, Ala. has been charged with obstructing a governmental operation.

In an incident being investigated by Lanett police, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 100 block of East 22nd Street.

Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Betty Teel, 46, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of possession of a controlled substance;

Sidney Johnson, 42, of Fort Mitchell, Ala. has been charged with FTA – driving with a suspended license and having an improper tag;

David Tillis, 57, of Wadley, Ala. has been charged with a probation violation, and

Robert Johns, 27, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay for theft of property, third degree.

There were 166 inmates in the Chambers County jail this morning.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Karl Ethan Scott, 35, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Jeri Lauren Shaddix, 26, of Valley has been charged with attempting to elude, and

Anthony Xavier Roundtree, 19, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, an incident of dogs being at large was reported on the 1000 block of County Road 196 and domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 300 block of Spring Street.
