SHERIFF’S OFFICE reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Triston Edmonson, 46, of Hogansville, Ga. has been charged with a violation of the Community Notification Act;

Tony Moffatt, 24, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – certain person forbidden to carry a pistol, and

Daniel Reed, 28, of Valley has been charged with FTA – two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

VALLEY reports

VALLEY — One person was arrested in Valley on Monday. According to a Valley Police Department report,

Richard Frederick Reed, 53, of Valley has been charged with FTA – three c0unts of traffic violations.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, criminal trespassing, third degree, has been reported on the 1700 block of 43rd Street, and domestic violence, third degree (harassment) and domestic violence, third degree (criminal mischief) was reported.

LANETT reports

LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Donna Lee Bell, 50, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Joseph Christopher Bell, 48, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Rhyan Turner Stiggers, 24, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a traffic-related charge, and

Julia Shanell Morgan, 30, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, the fraudulent use of a debit/credit card was reported on the 3000 block of South Phillips Road, and duty upon striking an unattended vehicle was reported on the 700 block of North 14th Court.

WEST POINT reports

WEST POINT — The West Point Police Department reported one arrest taking place on Monday. According to a WPPD report, Karl O’Brien Scott, 35, of Lanett has been charged with receiving stolen property – felony.
