Lanett reports
LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Christal Lanail Simpson Freitas, 35, of Cartersville, Ga. has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, and harassing communications;
Stephen Kelly Eldridge, 34, of Valley has been charged with kidnapping, second degree, robbery, third degree, domestic violence, third degree, theft of property, first degree, and interference with a domestic violence emergency call.
Casey Lamar Roberts, 26, of Lanett has been charged with harassment.
In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal mischief, third degree, criminal trespassing, third degree, and harassing communications was reported on the 200 block of South 3rd Avenue; theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 700 block of South 6th Avenue, and assault, second degree, was reported on the 300 block of South 6th Street.
VALLEY reports
VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports.
Dustin James Short, 30, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Elizabeth Merritt Molizone, 29, of Luverne, Ala. has been charged with the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and
Jacob Fuller, 20, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, criminal mischief.
In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on Middle Street; the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported on the 2300 block of 38th Boulevard; criminal mischief, second degree, was reported on the 1700 block of Crest Club Drive; change bills circulating was reported on the 5500 block of 20th Avenue; burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1300 block of California Road; domestic violence, third degree (criminal mischief), was reported on the 1400 block of Lantuck Road, and criminal mischief, third degree, reported on the 5800 block of 19th Avenue.
WEST POINT reports
WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating a report of aggravated assault that reportedly took place in the south bound lane of I-85 on Thursday.

LaFAYETTE— Five people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Kemarcus Banks, 23, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with failure to pay for a charge of operating a vehicle without insurance;
Jamal Mayfield, 28, of Valley has been charged with two counts of domestic violence, second degree;
Dustin Short, 30, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of child support, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the illegal purchase of Ephedrine – individual and the attempt to commit a controlled substance crime;
Darian Woody, 27, of Valley has been charged with a grand jury indictment for the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, and
Larry Jenkins, 29, of LaFayette has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, and interfering with a domestic violence emergency call.
There were 165 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Friday.
