Auction preparation

Several local businesses recently donated items for the Friday, April 27th Auction for Valley Haven School. It will be getting under way at 5:30 p.m. EDT at Valley Community Center. The doors will open at 5 p.m. to give everyone a chance to see what will be up for bids.
“Please join us for this year’s auction,” said Craig Brown, executive director for Valley Haven School. “We are adding new items almost every day.” To donate an item, or for more information, contact Valley Haven at (334) 756-7801.
Batson-Cook Hardware in downtown West Point donated an FSA 56 Stihl cordless trimmer.
Pawn City in Lanett donated a one-half carat diamond necklace.
Bob Wilkinson of West Point Tire Company donated a set of passenger tires.
“We appreciate the support we get every year from West Point Tire,” said Brown. “In addition to having new tires, West Point Tire also does alignments and brake repair.”
