MRS. Emma Louann Templeton

VALLEY — Mrs. Emma Louann Templeton, 69, of Valley, Ala. passed away at her home on Sunday, April 1, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born on March 15, 1949.
Mrs. Templeton was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed singing, listening to gospel music and old country music. She loved sitting outside and watching all of her many farm animals.
Mrs. Templeton is survived by her husband, Jerry Templeton; daughter, Becky (Jason) Earles; son, Rev. Larry “Bo” (Lynn) Hurley; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and a host of many nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Mrs. Templeton was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Hagar Blakley; children Molly Hurley, Dinky Roberts, Tina Pugh, and Wendell Kellum; a sister, Linda Daniel, and five brothers, Bill Blakley, Charles Blakley, Jim Blakley, Pearless Blakley, and Johnny Blakley.
Mrs. Templeton was loved and will be truly missed by many. Services will be held at the Wallace Chapel Baptist Church, 7444 Hwy 29 N, Cusseta AL 36852, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at noon EDT. The Rev. Larry “Bo” Hurley, the Rev. Aaron Pruitt and the Rev. Lee Pike will officiate. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
