Sheriff’s office reports
LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to CCSO reports.
Andre Devout, 31, of Snellville, Ga. has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, obstructing justice and fugitive from justice;
Wayne Cofield, 34, of Lanett has been charged with three counts of failure to pay – child support;
Laterrence James, 39, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, and
Jeremy Boone, 40, of Lanett has been charged with FTP – NWNI (bad checks).
Lanett reports
LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports.
Denise Lasha Bonner, 47, of Valley has been charged with FTA – no tag light;
Matthew Blake Arwood, 32, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – driving with a revoked license and being a fugitive from justice;
Valencia Benay Thompson, 49, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, and
Kenneth Powell Abner, 49, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.
In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 3400 block of 27th Street SW and domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1400 block of South 7th Street.
Valley reports
VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department officers,
Henry Kindred III, 29, of Cusseta, Ala. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Jacob Alexander Peacock, 23, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with five counts of bail jumping, second degree, and
James Lee Pugh, 48, of Cusseta has been charged with three counts of FTA – traffic.
In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, identity theft has been reported on the 100 block of Patton Hill, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle was reported on the 2800 block of 20th Avenue, and criminal mischief, third degree, reported on the 1800 block of 50th Street.
West Point reports
WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Thursday. According to West Point Police Department reports,
Matthew Misquistian Patton of Valley has been charged with theft by receiving stolen property – felony.
