Lanett reports

LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Lamarcus Terrell Wright, 28, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Latavia Schmale Davis, 28, of LaFayette has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Christy Lynn Wesson, 48, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay, and

Marecia Antwanette Woodgett, 30, of Lanett has been charged with two counts of failure to appear in court.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett police, identity theft was reported on the 1800 block of 18th Street SW; domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 2300 block of Broad Avenue and criminal trespassing, third degree, and harassment were reported on the 1900 block of First Street.

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Marecia Woodget, 31, of Lanett has been charged with two counts of failure to appear in court to answer charges of failure to appear in court to answer charges of driving with a suspended license, and

Christy Wesson, 49, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay on a charge of obstructing a government operation.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating an incident of armed robbery and assault that was reported on Highway 29 on Tuesday.
